Position Mission The Tools and Equipment Technical Sales Specialist (TSS) is responsible for generating and increasing sales through NAPA store end user accounts. This role is customer facing and focuses on coordinating and implementing market share impacting products and programs at the street level. The TSS reports to the division regional manager and manages a sales territory of NAPA stores. Position Performance Measures Dealer Calls Program Implementation Market Penetration Meeting Sales Quota Sales Lead Conversion Lead Generation Market Dominance Responsibilities: The primary responsibilities include: Making a minimum of 8 in-person calls with existing accounts to develop sales opportunities. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with accounts to promote products & services. Working with store decision makers to expand business and identify sales opportunities. Understanding customer needs and collaborating with Distribution Center Sales Teams. Coordinating with Customer Support Representatives on orders and billing. Mastering sales pitches using team knowledge and tools. Identifying opportunities and advising management. Understanding T&E products, programs, warranties, and rebates. Communicating regularly with managers, vendors, and colleagues about sales leads and customer issues. Participating in store sales events and promotions. Meeting or exceeding sales and activity quotas. Conducting account reviews and reporting progress. Performing other duties as assigned by the Regional Manager.
