Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to evaluate their physical condition, functional limitations, and rehabilitation needs.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at achieving specific rehabilitation goals, taking into account patient preferences and evidence-based practices.
• Utilize a range of therapeutic techniques, such as manual therapy, exercise prescription, and modalities, to enhance recovery.
• Monitor patient progress through regular assessments, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on body mechanics, rehabilitation techniques, and preventative measures to promote long-term health and reduce the risk of re-injury.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings.
• Document patient treatment and progress accurately in compliance with state regulations and organizational policies.
• Maintain a clean and organized treatment environment, ensuring all equipment is properly sanitized and inspected.

The physical therapist role predominantly focuses on orthopedic outpatient care, catering primarily to individuals recovering from musculoskeletal injuries and surgeries. Qualifications

• Must possess a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid Florida Physical Therapy license or eligibility to obtain one.

Compensation and Benefits
