Project Overview:The selected candidate will initially be placed on one of our four Liquefied Natural Gas Plant Projects in the US Gulf Coast Region for our Energy Global Business Unit, but we may also require the selected candidate to have future mobility to one of our other Global Business Units in a different location. The ideal candidate will have market sector/ sub sector construction industry experience in energy (liquefied natural gas), manufacturing and technology (semiconductor, chemical, pharmaceutical, data centers, fire power generation), infrastructure (aviation, rail, roads/bridges), mining and minerals (water treatment plant, mineral extraction, metal refining), & nuclear, security, and environmental (nuclear power epc, power distribution, combined cycle, defense and space, environmental cleanup). As needs arise in our growing business, there will be expectation for the candidate to be fully mobile.Job Summary:In this role, you will provide project field engineering support with work planning and packaging, material management, quantity verification and validation, safety and quality control, technical inspection and testing knowledge, and coordination of system turnover. Your work will contribute to ensuring field engineering activities operate safely, are complete, and conform to quality standards and project requirements. #LI-BH1Major Responsibilities:Participates with completions certification and turnover/handover for the project, through construction, commissioning, and handover phases of the program Incorporates handover requirements from the customer and construction/CSU turnover requirements, as provided into the systems completion database Monitors the production of contractor certification deliverables, including quality of submissions, and adherence to agreed schedules Develops reports as specified by supervision and generates on a periodic basis Coordinates plant turnover/handover to end user/client and system completions between parties on-project (typically construction to startup), compiling documentation, ensuring quality and consistency of turnover/handover packages to the client for the construction and/or CSU team Maintains lists and turnover processes as documented by procedure and directed Inputs provided data into system databases and administers the systems completion database; ensuring that requirements are set for systems under their purview Assists with the punch list database, running reports and chasing areas of focus as directed Assists with completions packages to certify completion of a turnover or handover element for review and approval Assists with completions documents submittal, checking and compilation processes or provides checking and oversight to subcontractors in this regard Education and Experience Requirements:Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 2-5 years of relevant experience or 6-9 years of relevant work experience.Required Knowledge and Skills:Knowledge of construction and commissioning processes as they relate to completion and turnover activitiesGood knowledge of MS Office suite of applications (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.)Experience with data management and /or database usageExcellent attention to detail and ability to proactively seek out missing information Additional Information: Work requires the physical ability to conduct field inspections including but not limited to: extensive walking in and around a construction site often in high heat and high humidity conditions, climbing ladders, climbing scaffolding, working on elevated platforms, working on uneven surfaces, and working in small or confined spaces. Some lifting may be required. Must have the ability to walk into and out of the project (enter/egress).
