Diagnose and repair a wide range of engine and transmission issues on various makes and models.

Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, fluid checks, and filter replacements.

Conduct thorough inspections of vehicle engines and transmissions, identifying potential problems.

Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to pinpoint mechanical failures and malfunctions.

Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble engines and transmissions according to manufacturer specifications.

Replace worn or damaged parts, ensuring proper fit and function.

Road test vehicles to confirm the effectiveness of repairs and ensure overall vehicle performance.

Maintain accurate service records and document all work performed.

Adhere to all safety practices and company policies.

Collaborate with service advisors to provide clear and concise explanations of necessary repairs and maintenance.

Minimum of 5 years of experience as an automotive technician, specifically with engine and transmission repair.

ASE Certifications (A1-A8, G1) are strongly preferred.

Proficiency with diagnostic equipment and specialized tools for engine and transmission work.

Strong understanding of vehicle electrical systems, fuel systems, and powertrain components.

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.

Effective communication skills to explain issues and repairs to service advisors.
