Location: Jefferson, GA | Pay Rate: $18/hour | Schedule: Mon-Fri 6am - 2:30pm (OT as Required)

About the Role

As a Forklift Operator, you'll play a vital role in supporting warehouse and manufacturing operations by ensuring materials are accurately received, stored, moved, and shipped. Your work directly impacts production efficiency, inventory accuracy, and customer satisfaction.

What You'll DoDay-to-Day Responsibilities

• Support picking, packing, loading, unloading, and general warehouse operations

• Safely operate material handling equipment to move inventory throughout the facility

• Locate, retrieve, and transport materials using established warehouse processes

• Read packing lists and follow shipping and receiving protocols

• Record turnbacks and process rework work orders and purchase orders

• Perform cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies

• Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve inventory issues

• Recommend process improvements that enhance efficiency and quality

• Execute JDE transactions related to assigned responsibilities

• Maintain an organized and safe work environment through 5S practices

• Assist with additional warehouse duties as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of forklift operation experience

• Ability to safely operate:

  • Sit-Down Forklift

  • Stand-Up Order Picker (OP)

  • Reach Truck

  • Cherry Picker at elevated heights

• Ability to read and follow packing lists and shipping/receiving procedures

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy

• Ability to work safely in a warehouse environment

Preferred Qualifications

• 3–5 years of warehouse and forklift experience

• Experience with inventory management systems and warehouse transactions

• Familiarity with JDE (JD Edwards) systems

• Experience conducting cycle counts and inventory reconciliation

• Continuous improvement mindset with strong problem-solving skills

Pay Details: $18.00 per hour
