Position: Global Human Resources – Intern

Position Reports to: Chief People Officer

Department: Human Resources

Location: Hudson Yards, New York USA

Schedule: Flexible, available as either a part-time (3 days per week) or full-time role.

We offer: The pay range for this role is $25 per hour

Purpose of Job

The Global HR Intern will support the HR team across a range of strategic and operational initiatives, with a strong focus on HR operations, data analytics, and digital process improvement.

This role is ideal for someone with prior HR experience who is highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and eager to use technology to streamline workflows, improve employee experience, and enhance decision-making.

This role offers hands-on exposure to HR within a fast-paced, growth-oriented global organization and provides opportunities to contribute to real projects with measurable impact. The schedule is flexible and may be structured on either a part-time or full-time basis.

Your Tasks Will Include:

• Support AI & Automation Projects: Help identify opportunities to use AI tools to streamline HR workflows, draft documents, and improve reporting.
• Data & Reporting: Build and maintain HR reports and dashboards; analyze data related to time off, performance, headcount, and employee experience.
• Excel & PowerPoint Support: Create high-quality spreadsheets, visualizations, and presentations for HR leadership and cross-functional teams.
• HR Operations: Assist with onboarding, offboarding, employee experience initiatives, and maintaining HR systems and records.
• Performance Management: Track timelines, organize materials, and support documentation for reviews and feedback cycles.
• Research & Insights: Conduct market, policy, and compliance research to support HR decision-making and program development.
• Project Coordination: Support HR technology rollouts, engagement initiatives, and special projects, ensuring deliverables and timelines are met.
• Communications: Draft and update HR communications, guides, and policy documents.

Required:

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's program in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Prior Human Resources experience through employment, an internship, or a comparable professional setting.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, PivotTables, data organization, and reporting; proficiency in PowerPoint is also required with the ability to create clear, data-driven visuals and presentations.
• Experience using AI or automation tools to improve HR processes, reporting, documentation, or employee communications.
• Demonstrated ability to work with data analysis, reporting, and dashboards, with strong attention to accuracy and detail.
• Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills, with the ability to handle confidential information and support multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred:

• Coursework or prior experience in data analytics, information systems, people analytics, business analytics, or HR technology.
• Familiarity with HR systems, survey platforms, or data visualization tools.
• Professional, proactive, eager to learn, and committed to maintaining a high degree of confidentiality, discretion, and ethical responsibility.
