Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for OR care in a trauma Level 1 facility. The role involves circulating and scrubbing across various surgical specialties, with a focus on trauma and high-acuity cases.

Responsibilities:

Provide competent circulating and scrubbing services for a variety of surgical procedures.
Assist in trauma and complex surgeries, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
Maintain accurate documentation of intraoperative activities and patient care.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficient operative workflows.
Follow all safety, infection control, and clinical guidelines throughout procedures.
Demonstrate flexibility with schedule, including nights, weekends, and call shifts.

Qualifications:

Must have at least 2 years of OR nursing experience in a high-volume trauma Level 1 facility.
Required to have recent EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years.
Skilled in circulating and scrub roles, with documented skills checklists.
Extensive experience with general OR procedures, including ortho, URO, oncology, neuro, cardiovascular, and robotics.
Must have prior travel experience with reliability in transportation.
Ability to adapt to flexible schedules and shift demands.
