Med Tech/Caregiver

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Med Tech/Caregiver to join our team in Cape Coral, FL. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality medical and personal care to patients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This role requires a strong understanding of medical technology and caregiving skills to support patients with various health needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Assist with self administration of medications and treatments as prescribed and monitor patient responses.
• Operate and maintain medical equipment and technology safely and effectively.
• Monitor vital signs and report any changes in patient condition to healthcare professionals.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
• Follow all safety and infection control protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Med Tech and/or Caregiver.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, equipment, and caregiving techniques.
• Ability to assist with self administration of medications.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and attentive to the needs of others.
• Certification or training relevant to medical technology or caregiving preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
• Reliable transportation.

The role may require physical activity such as lifting or assisting patients and standing for extended periods.
