Senior Data Architect, South Carolina

Leading the data and reporting strategy for the South Carolina Clinical and Translational Science Institute, the full-time Senior Data Architect will design and maintain a centralized research data repository, ensuring data integration and supporting comprehensive reporting across various research metrics in a remote environment. Key responsibilities Design and maintain the architecture of a centralized research data repository integrating data from multiple systems Lead the development of ETL/ELT pipelines to harmonize and curate data from disparate sources Translate business requirements into data models and visualizations for key research performance metrics Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field Four years of experience in systems development and maintenance or complex database management systems Experience with data modeling, normalization, and metadata management Proficiency in developing ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration processes Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Virtual Vocations Inc
