Position Overview

We are on the lookout for a skilled and empathetic Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer to enhance our expanding imaging team. You will wield cutting-edge ultrasound technology to conduct diagnostic assessments, working hand-in-hand with a welcoming cohort of clinicians to provide peace of mind to patients through prompt and precise imaging.

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct various ultrasound exams including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout procedures by clearly and compassionately explaining each step
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver high-quality images
• Operate and ensure the upkeep of imaging equipment while promptly reporting any issues
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient records in the electronic medical system
• Continuously update knowledge on advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and protocols

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
