Project Manager - Workforce Development

Overview We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the implementation and delivery of workforce development and software solutions for state and regional clients. The ideal candidate will manage multiple projects throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), working closely with clients, business analysts, developers, QA teams, and stakeholders to ensure successful project execution. The candidate must possess strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, along with an active PMP certification . Responsibilities Lead end-to-end software implementation projects using SDLC methodologies. Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, budgets, and resources. Coordinate with clients and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Gather business requirements and translate them into functional specifications. Monitor project risks, issues, and deliverables while providing regular status updates. Support testing, release management, client training, and post-implementation activities. Build and maintain strong client relationships while ensuring high customer satisfaction. Qualifications Active PMP certification (required). Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related field. 5+ years of IT Project Management experience. Experience with workforce development, unemployment compensation, WOTC, or Corrections projects is highly preferred. Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Knowledge of relational databases and basic SQL. Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
