Material Planner

To ensure timely material availability, the full-time remote Material Planner will manage procurement, analyze requisitions, and maintain optimal inventory levels while coordinating with suppliers and production planners. Key responsibilities Perform timely procurement of production and inventory items while ensuring optimal inventory levels are maintained Analyze requisitions to determine specifications and delivery requirements, recommending suppliers from an approved list Coordinate with Quality Assurance to resolve supplier-related quality issues and maintain proactive shortage identification Required qualifications BA/BS degree preferred 2+ years of planner/buyer experience in a manufacturing environment APICS (CPIM) or equivalent certification preferred Considerable knowledge of industry-related supply base and supplier processes Experience with operations, inventory management, and lean manufacturing processes
