2nd Shift Grinding Technician

Accentuate Staffing is assisting a well‑established manufacturing company in the Raleigh area with their search for a Grinding Technician. This is a contract‑hire role working Monday through Thursday 3pm‑1am. Responsibilities Operate grinders, sanders, and other finishing tools to remove slag, weld splatter, burrs, and surface defects from metal parts and assemblies. Review blueprints, work orders, and production documents to determine finishing requirements. Inspect completed work to ensure quality and customer specifications are met. Complete required production documentation accurately. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all company safety, quality, and production procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Experience in manufacturing, metal fabrication, grinding, deburring, or welding support preferred. Ability to read basic blueprints and perform basic measurements and calculations. Familiarity with grinders, sanders, and basic inspection tools such as calipers and micrometers. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to wear required PPE, including respiratory and hearing protection.
