Job Summary

STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a Senior SAP Functional Analyst SAP IS-U Billing on behalf of our client in Tampa, Florida.

We are looking for an experienced SAP Utilities professional with deep expertise in SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing to support and enhance critical utility business processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong functional knowledge of the Meter-to-Cash lifecycle, utility billing operations, tariff and rate configuration, and cross-functional SAP integrations. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver scalable solutions that support ongoing digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and enhance SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing solutions.

• Support end-to-end Meter-to-Cash business processes within a utility environment.

• Design and configure billing schemas, rate structures, tariffs, and complex billing scenarios.

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional solutions and system configurations.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between SAP IS-U and related modules.

• Support billing operations, including budget billing, time-of-use billing, real-time pricing, bill simulation, exception handling, collective billing, and revenue-related processes.

• Configure and support bill print functionality, including Print Workbench and forms integration.

• Participate in system enhancements, testing, implementation activities, and production support.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex functional issues while providing best-practice recommendations.

• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing.

• Deep understanding of utility industry business processes, particularly the Meter-to-Cash lifecycle.

• Experience configuring billing master data, billing schemas, rate structures, and tariff models.

• Knowledge of budget billing, time-of-use (TOU) billing, real-time pricing (RTP), exception management, and bill simulation processes.

• Experience integrating SAP IS-U with Device Management (DM) and Financial Contract Accounting (FI-CA).

• Strong requirements gathering, business analysis, and solution design skills.

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities.

• Experience supporting full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) activities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within electric, gas, or utility service organizations.

• SAP S/4HANA Utilities experience.

• Knowledge of SAP Fiori applications and user experience solutions.

• Experience with SAP IS-U Print Workbench, Smart Forms, and Adobe Forms.

• Familiarity with OData services, web services, and system integrations.

• SAP certifications related to IS-U, Utilities, S/4HANA, or other relevant SAP technologies.

• Experience supporting digital transformation or modernization initiatives.
