Lead and coordinate General Accounting functions, ensuring compliance with GAAP standards and company policies. Essential Job Functions
- Manage and maintain the fixed assets ledger.
- Prepare schedules and administer yearly fixed asset audits.
- Resolve JD Edwards accounting software issues.
- Issue and track Capital Appropriation Requests (CARs).
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and analyze expenses.
- Prepare scrap reporting analysis.
- Set up vendor accounts, GL codes, and interfaces in JD Edwards.
- Post payroll entries from Paycom into JD Edwards.
- Assist with Month-End Close processes and Year-End audits.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Ability to interpret business materials and write reports.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with JD Edwards preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Familiarity with GAAP standards.
