Overview Mintz’s Chambers-ranked real estate practice represents domestic and international clients in sophisticated, large-scale real estate acquisition, disposition, joint venture, development, financing, and leasing transactions. Our team represents real estate companies, private equity fund managers, family offices, Fortune 50 to 500 companies, and other corporate and institutional owners, investors, operators, and developers of multifamily, industrial, office, retail, sustainable energy, data center/digital infrastructure, and other commercial projects across the country. Responsibilities Mintz is seeking an associate with 3+ years of commercial real estate experience to join our team in Los Angeles. This individual will support acquisition, disposition, financing, and leasing transactions. Candidates must also be able to provide efficient legal service independently and as part of a team, quickly integrate into our national real estate practice, provide the highest quality of client service in support of a broad range of complex transactions and be dedicated to professional development consistent with this on-track position. Collaboration with team members is an important component of any role at Mintz. Therefore, the firm requires working from the office approximately 60% of the time in accordance with the firm\'s published guidelines. Qualifications Graduated with a JD or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school Must be admitted or eligible for admission in California Experience representing sophisticated owners, investors, operators and developers of commercial real estate as borrower or lender, buyer or seller, and landlord or tenant Familiarity with the lifecycle of a transaction and ability to review and comment on loan documents, purchase agreements, and leases Excellent written and verbal communication skills Professionalism in working and engaging with clients and investors Ability to prioritize, stay organized and exercise attention to detail Ability to collaborate and work effectively in team settings About Mintz Mintz is an Am Law 100 law firm with over 500 attorneys serving clients worldwide. The salary range for this position is $260,000 to $365,000. This position is bonus eligible. Mintz offers a comprehensive benefits package.
