As a Security Officer - Manufacturer in Tucson, AZ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of manufacturing areas, production spaces, warehouses, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, observing visitor and contractor entry, and documenting arrivals, departures, and unusual activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to site contacts and appropriate emergency responders as directed.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, patrol logs, and incident documentation, and report maintenance concerns, hazards, or security-related issues observed during patrols.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
