Job Description

We are seeking dedicated candidates to join our Line 1 Operating Team. This role involves working on a production line that rotates through four positions during an 8-hour shift. You will be involved in various tasks including placing blades on a conveyor line, operating ovens/furnaces, handling tools to set blades in presses, and conducting quality inspections.

Responsibilities

• Operate and rotate through four positions on the production line.
• Place blades on the conveyor line and operate ovens/furnaces.
• Use hand tools/grabbers to set blades in presses and cool them in quench.
• Hang blades for painting and conduct quality inspections before shipment.
• Ensure attention to detail to identify quality defects.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to stand for 10-hour shifts and rotate among stations.

• Trained in operating rhythms as part of a team process.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rock Island, IL.

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
