Seasonal Maintenance Worker (Summer) - 35880 Rapid City, SD | Military | As Needed, Sporadic 14.50 - 18.28 US per hour Posted 5 days ago Description Job ID:35880- Seasonal Maintenance Worker (Two positions) Agency: Department of the Military Location: Rapid City, SD Minimum Salary: $14.50 - $18.28 per hour, depending on experience Closing Date: Open Until Filled Description : Seasonal maintenance worker supports Camp Rapid's operation readiness by performing general upkeep, groundskeeping, and minor repair tasks. General Requirements : Perform landscaping duties including mowing, trimming, brush removal as well as general facility upkeep. Including minor repairs, painting and general preventative maintenance on various building systems. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities : Knowledge of: safety regulations and basic hazardous material handling (e.g. fuel, paint, solvents); basic understanding of groundskeeping, landscaping and general facility upkeep procedures; proper use and maintenance or standard hand tools, power tools and light machinery. Skills: safely operate ground maintenance equipment, including zero turn mowers, weed trimmers and utility vehicles (UTV). Abilities: perform manual labor; lift up to 50 pounds; work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions.
