Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients in a 10-bed LDRP unit with a 1:1 laboring and 1:3 couplet ratio
• Circulate in C-section procedures within the on-site OR suite
• Monitor patients using GE centrally monitored telemetry and the OBIX fetal heart monitoring system
• Document patient care and assessments using MediTech EMR
• Support a family-centered, skin-to-skin care model in which newborns remain with their mothers throughout the stay
• Float to NICU as needed for feeder and grower patients based on census

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
• C-section circulator experience required
• Strong IV insertion and management skills
• Experience with common L&D diagnoses including magnesium sulfate administration and insulin management (patient population from 32 weeks gestation)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification preferred
• Prior experience with OBIX fetal monitoring system and/or MediTech EMR
• Familiarity with antepartum patient care
