Senior Clinical Research Coordinator Role in Ridgeland, MS (39157)

Position Overview

The Senior Clinical Research Coordinator/Site Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily execution of clinical trials while ensuring compliance with study protocols, regulatory guidelines, sponsor expectations, and internal procedures. This role works closely with investigators and site staff to support enrollment, data quality, and overall study success.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage patient visits according to study protocols.
• Perform clinical procedures including vital signs, EKGs, specimen collection/processing, and phlebotomy as needed.
• Obtain and document informed consent appropriately.
• Educate and support participants throughout the study process.
• Monitor patient safety and report adverse events as required.
• Maintain accurate source documentation and complete EDC data entry in a timely manner.
• Resolve data queries and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Maintain investigational product accountability and proper storage procedures.
• Assist with monitoring visits, audits, and inspections.
• Collaborate with investigators and site staff to ensure protocol compliance and efficient study operations.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of clinical research processes, medical terminology, and ICH/GCP guidelines.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Experience using Microsoft Office, EDC, and CTMS systems preferred.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical research experience required.
• Hands-on patient care experience, including phlebotomy, vital signs, and EKGs, strongly preferred.

Details:

Location: Ridgeland, MS

Pay: $65,000-$75,000 Annual Salary (Dependent on background and years of experience)

Hours: Monday - Friday; Normal Business Hours; Onsite 5 Days a Week

Duration: ~6 month (1,040 Hours) contracted probationary period into direct hire / permanent position
