The Senior IT Talent Acquisition Specialist will serve as a strategic partner to hiring managers across a broad portfolio of IT roles, including software engineers, DevOps engineers, site reliability engineers, data scientists, and program/project managers. The role is fully consultative, data‑driven, and focuses on attracting top‑tier IT talent for all security‑clearance levels within the government contracting (GovCon) environment. This will be a hybrid role with 2 to 3 days a week onsite in the Tysons, VA area. Responsibilities Talent Acquisition & Full‑Lifecycle Recruiting Manage end‑to‑end recruiting for a broad portfolio of IT roles. Source passive and active candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals, networking events, cleared job fairs, and social media. Recruit across all clearance levels (Public Trust to TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph) and handle clearance eligibility, reciprocity, and adjudication timelines. Develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies tailored to role, clearance, and skill sets. Conduct thorough candidate screens to evaluate technical qualifications, clearance status, compensation alignment, and cultural fit. Strategic Business Partnership Serve as a trusted talent advisor and primary point of contact for assigned hiring managers and stakeholders. Lead intake/kickoff meetings that challenge requirements, align expectations, and co‑develop hiring strategies. Communicate pipeline status, candidate feedback, market conditions, and competitive intelligence on a regular cadence. Provide consultative guidance on interview best practices, offer strategy, and candidate experience. Advocate for competitive offers, realistic timelines, and process improvements to protect candidate quality and business outcomes. Metrics, Reporting & Talent Advisory Track and analyze key recruiting metrics, including pipeline conversion and aging requisitions. Present data‑driven insights and recruitment performance summaries to stakeholders and TA leadership. Translate data into actionable recommendations, identify bottlenecks, and propose solutions to improve hiring outcomes. Monitor labor market trends and compensation benchmarks to counsel stakeholders on competitive positioning and talent availability. Process & Collaboration Partner collaboratively with TA teammates and HR partners to ensure a seamless candidate and hiring manager experience. Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date requisition and candidate data in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Contribute to team initiatives such as talent pipeline management and process improvement. Qualifications 8+ years of full‑lifecycle IT recruiting experience, including a minimum of 5 years in a GovCon environment. Experience recruiting roles that require security clearances at all levels (TS/SCI, polygraph). Deep knowledge of cleared IT talent markets (DoD, IC, civilian agencies). Proven track record as a strategic business partner with influence and collaboration skills. Strong proficiency in recruiting metrics: data collection, analysis, and presentation. Familiarity with OFCCP compliance, EEO guidelines, etc. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency with ATS platforms (e.g., Workable) and sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, ClearanceJobs). Ability to manage a high‑volume, complex requisition load independently while maintaining quality and service levels. Desired Skills Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). AIRS PRC, SHRM, or other relevant HR/TA certifications. Exposure to workforce planning and pipeline/talent pooling strategies. Benefits Annual salary range: $115,000 – $130,000 (nominal; final offer depends on location, experience, and skills).
