Leasing Manager

LHH is partnering with a residential property management company in Hunt Valley, MD, seeking a motivated and hands‑on Leasing Manager to lead the daily operations of a residential community. In this role, you will serve as the on‑site leader responsible for guiding the leasing team, supporting residents, and ensuring the property operates smoothly, efficiently, and in alignment with company standards. Position type : Temporary to hire Job Title : Leasing Manager Location : Hunt Valley, MD Pay Rate : $25-$27 per hour Schedule : Full‑time hours, Monday–Friday What You’ll Do As the Leasing Manager, you will be responsible for both team leadership and on‑site property operations, including: Leading and overseeing the daily workflow of the leasing office and leasing staff Coaching, guiding, and supporting team members in alignment with company policies Partnering with the Regional Property Manager on training, development, and performance reviews Serving as a key point of contact for residents, assisting with rent payments, service requests, and concerns Ensuring consistent compliance with Fair Housing laws, company policies, and safety protocols Maintaining strong communication between leasing and service teams to support seamless operations Managing emergency response procedures and completing required incident reporting Overseeing property appearance, including leasing office, model units, grounds, and vacant units Conducting daily property inspections and monthly building evaluations Coordinating leasing activities including renewals, move‑ins, move‑outs, and evictions when necessary Supporting delinquency management through proactive resident communication Overseeing scheduling and approving payroll for the on‑site team Supporting marketing efforts to maintain strong occupancy and leasing performance Collaborating with local authorities and security partners when needed Ensuring proper key control and property security procedures are followed at all times Appearing in court as needed on behalf of the company What We’re Looking For 2+ years of experience in property management, leasing, sales, or a related field preferred High school diploma or equivalent required Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support a team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer‑first mindset Detail‑oriented, organized, and confident managing multiple priorities Familiarity with leases and real estate operations Experience with Yardi Systems strongly preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office Professional, approachable demeanor at all times Requirements Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle during scheduled shifts required Ability to work weekends and rotating schedules as needed Must be comfortable with regular walking of the property, office work, and computer use Willingness to work across multiple properties if required Must maintain a polished, professional appearance at all times Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
