Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) degree, active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license, and 1+ years Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). Two dedicated professionals are needed for dynamic roles for the upcoming school year, each offering the chance to make a meaningful impact in an elementary setting.

Role 1: This position entails coverage for two non-concurrent leaves across two elementary schools. You’ll work full-time hours (35+ per week) for the entire academic year, delivering vital OT services that support students’ learning, participation, and growth.

Role 2: The second opening is a full-time assignment covering a maternity leave (October through April) in an elementary environment. Here, you'll nurture students’ progress and independence during a critical time in their educational journey.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Active certification and state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
• Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting highly preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with educators, students, and families
• Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced and evolving elementary school environment
• Proficient in executing therapy plans and documenting student progress

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct occupational therapy services within assigned elementary schools under OT supervision
• Collaborate closely with lead OTs, teachers, and support staff
• Support the development and modification of activities to enhance student participation and independence
• Maintain accurate records and progress notes in alignment with school guidelines
• Foster an encouraging, inclusive, and safe environment for all students
