We are looking for individuals who share our commitment to excellence, thrive in a team environment, and take pride in making a positive impact on our guests and fellow teammates.As part of the Princess family, you'll enjoy competitive benefits, professional development opportunities, international career pathways, and the unique opportunity to explore some of the world's most breathtaking destinations.Key ResponsibilitiesBaristas are experts in their craft, possessing a deep understanding of coffee blends, the art of coffee roasting, the intricacies of operating and maintaining espresso machines, and the delicate skill of frothing milk, as well as providing a fantastic sensory experience with tea.; They actively ensure that beverage service team members at assigned bar locations act as company ambassadors and maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times.; They also drive the service excellence culture and platform by overseeing the Bar Steward, Jr. Bar Steward & Utility Beverage performance at their location, providing guidance as needed, and interacting with guests to ensure their satisfaction with the beverage product and service.; Baristas understand the setup, product, and service expectations of their area and promptly corrects any deficiencies that would negatively impact the guest experience.; They partner with the Head Bartender to respond to guest feedback from all platforms and develop an action plan for immediate service recovery or a corrective action plan to improve service.; They own their experience areas and partners with the beverage staff to oversee the development, implementation, and execution of the product and service in accordance with brand standards.; Baristas are also responsible for ensuring that all beverages, including coffe beverages and tea drinks are accurately, professionally, and timely executed in accordance with company standards.; They prepare and maintain a clean, sanitized, and fully stocked bar area at all times and ensures that any damage to equipment, fixtures, and fittings is reported immediately and rectified in a timely manner.; They drive beverage sales performance and promotions, ensuring that they and their teammates actively upsell and promote all specialty dining venues while maintaining a guest-centric approach.; Barista also ensure guest orders are processed promptly and accurately through the on-board POS system.; They are esponsible for all beverage inventory at the assigned location and conducts inventory counts as directed, following company guidelines and investigating variances in a timely manner.; Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

A minimum of two years’ experience as a Barista in a high-volume hospitality environment, preparing and serving a wide range of international coffee beverages and specialty teas.; Strong knowledge of coffee blends, roasting profiles, espresso extraction, milk texturing, and latte art, with the ability to consistently deliver high-quality beverages to brand standards.; Proficiency in operating, cleaning, and maintaining professional coffee machines, grinders, and related bar equipment, with a focus on safety and efficiency.; Good command of both English and Japanese, with the ability to converse confidently with guests, explain menu items, and handle guest feedback in both languages.; Solid understanding of guest service principles, with a genuine passion for delivering warm, attentive, and personalised service in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.; Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly, approachable, and caring personality that helps create memorable guest experiences.; Proven ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team, maintaining professional, respectful, and culturally aware working relationships.; Well-developed organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple orders, prioritise tasks, and maintain a clean, well-stocked bar area during busy service periods.; Motivated, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement, with a strong desire to uphold Princess Cruises’ Service Excellence standards and surprise and delight guests throughout their cruise.; Additional Information
