Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Application Programmer III to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java, Spring MVC, and distributed systems and a proven ability to design, implement, and maintain high-volume, secure, and scalable applications that align to business objectives .

Responsibilities:

• Provide senior Java development, technical direction, and oversight for solution delivery.
• Oversee design, implementation, and maintenance of complex applications using Spring MVC and related frameworks.
• Ensure code quality, standards compliance, and effective CI/CD practices with Git and Maven.
• Align technical solutions with business requirements and performance objectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Primary skill in Spring MVC with experience on high-volume applications.
• Expertise with Spring ecosystem: Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Integration, Spring Data JPA.
• SOAP and REST web services, REST/JSON standards, and XML/JSON binding libraries such as JAXB, Jackson, and Gson.
• 5+ years of hands-on software development experience with Java/J2EE and distributed systems.
• Frontend familiarity with Handlebars, Foundation, and ReactJS.
• Unit testing skills Junit.
• Git, Maven, Nexus, Bitbucket, and Eclipse or equivalent IDE, including branching and merge strategies.
• Monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk and Dynatrace.
• Messaging with WebSphere MQ or ActiveMQ and familiarity with JVM internals and performance tuning.
• Experience with Groovy and strong object-oriented design and Java design patterns.
• Basic knowledge of AI agents and using AI for code reviews and code authoring.

Preferred Skills:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Exposure to Agile methodologies and collaborative team environments.
• Strong communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to technical and business stakeholders.
• Analytical skills for requirement decomposition, problem solving, and constructive code reviews.
• Ability to propose and drive process or technology improvements.

Role Logistics:

• Start month: October.
• Interview process: 1-2 rounds. Video required. In-person preferred.
• Hybrid schedule: Minimum 3 days per week onsite.
• Glider process includes ID verification.
