Summary As a HEMLINE register, it involves register responsibility and administrative duties. As the final point of contact for customers, the cashier is vital in ensuring customer satisfaction before they leave our store. They must embody a friendly and energetic demeanor, combined with quick and efficient service, to leave a positive lasting impression. Responsibilities Maintaining store, adjusting racks, refolding products. Inventory of new products. Clean store before and after shift. Answer the phone. Respond to Hemline Basecamp Item Checks. Help complete daily to-do list. Communication with other stores. Flexible schedule/Open availability. Competencies Cash and Receipts Management. Cashiering. Customer Service. Replenishment and Ordering. POS Software. Knowledge of Shopify Point of Sale. Detail-oriented and organized nature. Prioritizes tasks to maximize the efficiency of team. Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent. Additional Eligibility Qualifications Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced setting. Very responsible with money. Interest in fashion and current trends that apply to the market. Excellent communication skills. Takes initiative to accomplish all set goals. Great customer service skills. Professionalism. Imagination. High energy. Team spirit. Previous retail experience is a plus. Work Environment The role primarily takes place in a retail store environment, with occasional interactions required in office settings. Physical Demands Prolonged periods standing and working on cash register or related equipment. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times. May need to work weekends, and holidays on a rotating basis. Ability to perform repetitive movements over long periods of time. Work Hours Regular working hours are from 9:45 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday through Sunday, with flexibility to accommodate the dynamic nature of the retail environment. Travel not required.
