Mortgage Loan Officer Assistant

Double H Home Loans is seeking a Licensed Loan Production Partner (Loan Officer Assistant) to support a high-performing mortgage broker and branch manager. This role is ideal for an experienced mortgage professional who enjoys structuring loans, managing borrower relationships, and ensuring files move efficiently from application to closing - without the pressure of originating their own business. The Loan Production Partner will act as the primary operational extension of the Loan Officer, helping borrowers through the pre-approval and loan process while ensuring all files are complete, compliant, and ready for underwriting. Responsibilities: • Review all loan package documentation for discrepancies, omissions, and income calculation then report any discrepancies to the loan originator • Handle all customer and in-house inquiries about transactions so the process is smooth and customers receive excellent service • Screen and make calls, book appointments and provide administrative support as needed • Assemble loan documentation as required necessary for verifications and underwriting such as loan files, loan packages, credit reports, and additional mortgage application paperwork • Be the primary liaison between the mortgage loan officer and our clients and schedule meetings to discuss outstanding items Qualifications: • Active NMLS Mortgage Loan Originator License • Minimum 2+ years of mortgage industry experience • Strong understanding of mortgage guidelines and loan products • Experience with mortgage LOS systems (Encompass, ARIVE, etc.) • Ability to review and calculate borrower income and assets • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills • Excellent communication and borrower service skills Compensation: $45,000 - $60,000 yearly
