Why Join Us? + Hands-on role with broad accounting responsibilities + Exposure to financial reporting, audits, and month-end close activities + Opportunity to work across multiple areas of accounting + Collaborative team environment + Growth opportunities within a stable organization + Ability to contribute to process improvements and efficiencies Key ResponsibilitiesGeneral Accounting + Maintain and reconcile General Ledger accounts + Prepare and post journal entries + Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes + Perform account, bank, and balance sheet reconciliations + Support the preparation of financial statements and reports Financial Reporting & Analysis + Assist with financial reporting and variance analysis + Research and resolve accounting discrepancies + Ensure accounting records are accurate and complete + Support budgeting and forecasting activities as needed Compliance & Audit Support + Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies + Assist with external audits and provide supporting documentation + Maintain accurate records and accounting schedules + Support sales, use, and other tax reporting requirements Process Improvement + Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiencies + Assist with internal controls and documentation efforts + Collaborate with AP, AR, and operational teams to resolve accounting issues QualificationsRequired + Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field + 3+ years of accounting experience + Strong General Ledger accounting experience + Experience with account, balance sheet, and bank reconciliations + Knowledge of GAAP accounting principles + Experience with month-end close and journal entries + Proficiency with ERP/accounting software and Microsoft Excel + Strong attention to detail and analytical skills Preferred + Experience preparing financial statements + Experience supporting audits + Budgeting or forecasting exposure + Manufacturing, distribution, service, or multi-entity accounting experience + Advanced Excel skills What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and committed to accuracy. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Sioux Falls, SD. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $110000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
