Job Description
Longue Vue Club in Verona is seeking an experienced sauté cook to join our team. You will be responsible for preparing menu items to specification, performing prep work, setting stations for service, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. This role also involves functioning as the inside expediter, coordinating ticket flow and communicating effectively with fellow cooks. Responsibilities
- Perform prep work necessary for daily service
- Set up and maintain a clean station for efficient service
- Prepare menu items according to specifications
- Coordinate order flow as inside expediter
- Communicate clearly with other kitchen team members
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the workspace
- Ensure quality control of prepared dishes
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in culinary arts
- Expertise in sauté techniques
- Knowledge of food safety practices
- Strong time management skills
- Effective team communication
- Ability to organize kitchen tasks efficiently
- Skilled in menu execution and multitasking
- High attention to detail
