Laundry Attendant Part Time Service Middletown, NY, US 5 days ago Requisition ID: 2276 Salary Range: $16.00 To $16.00 Annually The laundry attendant’s primary responsibilities include but are not limited to cleaning and folding soiled linen which includes linen from the guest rooms as well as any other duties that the Executive Housekeeper see fit to assign. Guest Service Maintains guest service as the driving philosophy of the operation Personally demonstrates a commitment to guest service in responding promptly to guests’ needs Committed to making every guest is satisfied Meets or exceeds guest satisfaction measures Ensures hotel standards and services contribute to the delivery of consistent guest service Implements and practices guest service initiatives and performs to Gulph Creek Hotel Standards Laundry Attendant Duties Sort linen by type. Properly load washers and dryers. Follow proper laundry folding and stacking procedures. Separate re-wash linen using proper procedures Assist with monthly inventory procedures and collect dirty linen from guest rooms. Cleaning linen traps from dryers. Equipment wipe down (report any/all equipment malfunction to management) Sweeping and mopping laundry floors. Removal of trash at end of shift. Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner. Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Gulph Creek Standards, as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the hotel. Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing the proper uniform and nametag when working. Comply at all times with Gulph Creek standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations. Other duties as required. Ensure that linen is clean and available for use by the hotel’s departments when needed.
