Virtual Platform Engineer

Salary: $111,300 - 166,900 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline.
• We look for experience in software or firmware engineering, or comparable hands-on work.
• We expect prior work developing virtual platforms or simulators.
• We need strong expertise in SystemC TLM or QEMU.
• We value modern C++ programming skills.
• We require familiarity with ARM architecture, including CPU, GIC, and CoreSight debug concepts.
• We look for experience in firmware and/or device driver development and debugging.
• Preferred strengths include open-source development, unit testing, continuous integration, ARM Fast Models, and server architecture knowledge such as RAS and manageability.

• We design and develop SystemC TLM models that accurately represent complex SoC architectures.
• We integrate processors, interconnects, peripherals, and custom IP blocks into our SystemC simulator.
• We collaborate with hardware designers, software engineers, systems teams, and other stakeholders to capture system requirements and turn them into detailed virtual models.
• We leverage advanced software and hardware systems knowledge to create, refine, and maintain virtual models.
• We define software requirements for complex SoC TLM model development.
• We build and implement TLM models for large-scale products and systems.
• We lead design, coding, and testing efforts to deliver projects on schedule and to specification.
• We conduct code reviews, run regression tests, and investigate and resolve issues to maintain code quality.
• We work independently with minimal supervision and make decisions that influence project and program success.
• We communicate complex technical information clearly and apply strong judgment, negotiation, and prioritization skills.
