Location: Atlanta, GA (onsite 5 days a week) Duration: Direct Hire Role Summary The Staff Accountant supports the accounting function by maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with month-end close activities, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role plays a key part in tracking financial performance, reconciling accounts, and supporting reporting processes. Key Responsibilities Perform core accounting activities, including journal entries and month-end close support Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies Prepare and complete bank reconciliations Track and monitor financial transactions and account activity Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc financial reports Support oversight of cash activity, including payments, refunds, and account balances Maintain accurate financial records and documentation Assist with audits, compliance requirements, and special projects as needed Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure financial accuracy and timely reporting Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience) 2–5+ years of accounting experience (flexible based on level) Strong understanding of general accounting principles (GAAP preferred) Experience with account reconciliations and financial reporting #J-18808-Ljbffr Dexian
