Job Summary

T he Order Entry Clerk is responsible for accurately entering customer orders into the company's system, verifying order details, and ensuring timely processing. This role requires strong attention to detail, data entry skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal departments.


Key Responsibilities
Enter customer orders accurately into the order management system.
Review orders for completeness, accuracy, pricing, and product availability.
Verify customer information, shipping details, and payment terms.
Communicate with customers regarding order status, changes, or discrepancies.
Coordinate with sales, warehouse, and shipping teams to ensure timely fulfillment.
Maintain accurate records of orders and customer interactions.
Resolve order-related issues and escalate complex problems when necessary.
Generate reports and assist with administrative tasks as needed.
Follow company policies and quality standards.

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous data entry, administrative, customer service, or order processing experience preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and order management/ERP systems.
Strong typing and data entry skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
