OFFICE CLERK RESPONSIBILITES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

CUSTOMERS ARE GREETED WITH A FRIENDLY SMILE AND SERVICED IN THE BEST WAY POSSIBLE.
OPERATE CASH REGISTER 
INTERACT APPROPRIATELY WITH CUSTOMERS. COUNT CHANGE BACK TO THE CUSTOMERS AND TRY TO USE THEIR NAME. ASK THEM IF THEY FOUND EVERYTHING THEY WERE LOOKING FOR AND THANK THEM FOR SHOPPING AT OUR STORE.
COUNT CASH DRAWER BEFORE STARTING YOUR SHIFT AND AT THE END OF YOUR SHIFT AND BE RESPONSIBLE FOR BALANCING YOUR DRAWER.
PROCESS AND BAG CUSTOMER ORDERS.
BALANCE CASH MEDIA AND COUNT DOWN CASHIER'S DRAWERS AND BALANCE OFFICE AT END OF SHIFT.
RECORD ALL OTHER PERTINENT DATA (A/R PAYMENTS, SCHEDULE CHANGES, REGISTER INCIDENTS, ETC.)
PERFORM ALL SERVICE CENTER FUNCTIONS, CLEAN OFFICE, COVER BREAKS AND SEND CASHIERS HOME EARLY IF IT IS SLOW.
APPROVE OR DENY PERSONAL OR PAYROLL CHECKS ACCORDING TO OUR CHECK CASHING POLICY.
MAINTAIN SECURITY OF OFFICE AREA.
PROCESS BANK DEPOSITS (AM STAFF).
ORDER AND MAINTAIN FRONT END SUPPLIES.
INTERACT WITH CUSTOMERS AND ASSOCIATES.
COMMUNICATE WITH CASHIERS AND SERVICE CENTER.
ASSIST WITH NSF COLLECTIONS. RECORD ON NSF SHEET, SEND OUT LETTERS AND LOG PAYMENTS.
PROMOTE TEAMWORK.
FOLLOW ALL GOVERNMENT REGULATIONS (EX. BEER AND ALCOHOL PURCHASES).
** PERFORM OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED BY THE SUPERVISOR.**
