The Opportunity

Anzac Developments LLC is seeking a skilled and proactive Residential Construction Estimator to drive our residential renovation and addition projects from concept to proposal. Built on over 25 years of industry expertise, our team values craftsmanship, integrity, and clear communication. In this role, you will be the key link between initial job walks, accurate pricing, and comprehensive project scopes—setting our residential team and clients up for seamless execution and long-term success.

How You Will Make an Impact

• Conduct on-site evaluations and job walks to assess scope, conditions, and project needs.
• Develop detailed, comprehensive scopes of work for residential renovations, additions, and remodels.
• Perform accurate quantity takeoffs, cost analyses, and estimate multi-trade residential projects.
• Solicit, coordinate, and review pricing from subcontractors across multiple trades to build precise cost models.
• Prepare clear, professional, and accurate proposals for presentation to homeowners and prospective clients.
• Maintain clear communication with homeowners, trade partners, and internal operations to ensure project goals align.
• Support a smooth transition from proposal approval to project handover with the execution team.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in construction estimating or project management with strong estimating responsibilities.
• Substantial background in residential general contracting, with specific experience in whole-home renovations, additions, and remodeling.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct site walks, define project scopes, perform takeoffs, and generate thorough proposals.
• Proven experience coordinating subcontractor bids across multiple construction trades.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting directly with clients, subs, and team members.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• Combined experience in both residential estimating and project management.
• Client-facing or sales experience with a consultative approach to homeowner discussions.
• Broad general contractor estimating experience rather than single-trade focus.
