THE GIST:

Our client is a unique, founder-focused venture capital firm creating an exceptional residential experience for entrepreneurs in San Francisco. They are looking for a highly resourceful & proactive Personal Assistant to support two members of its leadership team across their personal, household, and day-to-day needs. This is a hands-on, dynamic role for someone who loves solving problems, staying one step ahead, and making life easier for the people they support.

This is the perfect role for someone who doesn’t wait for a to-do list. You see what needs to be done and take ownership from start to finish. From coordinating household logistics and managing vendors to planning gatherings, you’re comfortable wearing many hats and jumping between priorities!

THE NITTY GRITTY:

• Personal & Lifestyle Support: Manage day-to-day personal needs, including booking appointments, running errands, coordinating shopping, and assisting with wardrobe needs as requested.
• Household Management: Help oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple residences, ensuring apartments are stocked, organized, and running smoothly. Coordinate laundry, cleaning services, deliveries, furniture setup, and other household needs.
• Vendor & Property Coordination: Serve as the go-to person for household vendors, including electricians, plumbers, gardeners, pool cleaners, and other service providers. 
• Project Management: Coordinate light renovation projects, furniture deliveries, installations, and home improvements. Identify the right vendors, manage timelines, and ensure everything gets done efficiently.
• Events & Entertaining: Help plan and coordinate small gatherings and entertaining, approximately twice per month. Manage logistics, vendors, supplies, and setup to ensure everything runs seamlessly.
• Technology & Troubleshooting: Research solutions, coordinate tech setups, troubleshoot basic issues, and help with practical needs like setting up Wi-Fi and sound systems.
• Process Improvement: Proactively identify ways to streamline routines, improve household systems, and make everyday life more efficient. Leverage tools like ChatGPT, Claude, and other AI platforms to research, organize, and simplify tasks.
• On-the-Ground Support: Be available to handle in-person needs throughout San Francisco and the Bay Area, stepping in wherever support is needed.

THE ESSENTIALS:

• 2+ years of experience as a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, and/or Household Manager.
• Ability to be onsite in San Francisco on short notice and travel between residences & vendor locations as needed.
• A valid driver's license and comfort driving around the Bay Area.
• Flexible and willing to occasionally work evenings and weekends, particularly around events or time-sensitive needs
• Highly proactive, resourceful, and solutions-oriented
• Ability to anticipate needs and operate independently with minimal direction.
• Strong organizational and project coordination skills, with excellent follow-through and attention to detail.
• Internet-savvy and comfortable researching solutions, comparing options, troubleshooting basic technology, and learning new systems.
• Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude, or a genuine interest in using them to work more efficiently.
• Comfortable managing vendors, coordinating home services, and juggling a variety of personal and household priorities.

COMPENSATION: $90-100k base salary + benefits, depending on skills, experience, and expertise
