Position: Mortgage Loan Originator (HELOC Brokerage) Location: (In-office 5-days/week) 3960 Howard Hughes Parkway, Suite #500 Las Vegas, NV 89169 This role requires unrestricted work authorization now and, in the future, as visa sponsorship and sponsorship transfers are not available. Overview: Builds and scales a modern AI-enabled HELOC brokerage delivering fast, low-friction loan origination at the point of sale. Operates in a high-performance fintech environment leveraging automation, data, and intelligent workflows. Converts inbound merchant-sourced leads into funded HELOCs, provides hands-on operations support across the loan lifecycle, ensures compliance, and drives a seamless borrower experience. Duties & Responsibilities Owns end-to-end origination of HELOC loans sourced from inbound merchant-channel leads Provides operations support across the loan lifecycle, including application intake, document collection, conditions clearing, and pipeline coordination Manages high-volume pipeline with speed accuracy and disciplined follow-through Leverages AI-enabled tools to enhance borrower engagement and conversion Executes within automated digital workflows minimizing manual intervention Ensures compliance with regulatory investor and internal standards Identifies and escalates risks exceptions and compliance concerns Collaborates cross-functionally to progress loans and resolve blockers Required Skills/Qualifications Holds active NMLS Mortgage Loan Originator license and expands licensing footprint asrequired Demonstrates 2+ years of mortgage origination experience Is licensed in good standing as a mortgage loan originator with the State of Nevada Will be present at the licensed office location for which he or she is designated the majority of the time that the office is open to the public Has at least 2 years verifiable experience in the business of lending money for real estate or mortgages within the five years immediately preceding this role Balances loan origination with hands-on operational support and thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Applies strong knowledge of HELOC products borrower qualification and loan structuring Drives results with urgency accountability and consistent conversion of inbound opportunities Collabates effectively with operations compliance and partners to achieve results Communicates clearly and translates complex financial concepts for borrowers and stakeholders Integrates data guidelines and risk factors to make sound decisions andanticipatedownstream impacts Maintains knowledge of loan origination systems digital platforms and automated workflows Preferred Skills (if applicable): Operates in AI-forward digital lending or fintech environments Uses automated underwriting systems and API-based lending platforms Works within multi-state mortgage brokerage operations Handles high-volume inbound or point-of-sale lead flow Core Competencies: Results Focused / High-Ownership Execution Consistently delivers against conversion, quality, and cycle-time expectations Prioritizes effectively in high-volume environments and drives work to completion without drop-off Demonstrates urgency, resilience, and accountability in achieving outcomes Teamwork & Collaboration Works seamlessly across operations, compliance, and vendor partners to advance loans Operates with a “one team” mindset, aligning individual output to broader business goals Seeks feedback and contributes to a high-performance, low-ego team culture Communication Communicates clearly, concisely, and professionally with borrowers and internal stakeholders Translates complex financial and regulatory concepts into simple, actionable guidance Proactively flags risks, delays, or blockers with transparency and solutions-oriented thinking Integrative Thinking & Judgment Synthesizes borrower data, documentation, and underwriting requirements to make sound decisions Connects individual loan decisions to broader business outcomes, risk posture, and customer experience Anticipates downstream implications (processing delays, compliance exposure, fallout risk) and adjusts approach accordingly Exercises strong judgment in escalations and exception handling Job-Specific Knowledge Deep understanding of HELOC products, borrower profiles, and structuring considerations Working knowledge of federal/state regulatory frameworks and disclosure requirements Proficiency in loan origination systems, digital lending platforms, and automated workflows Familiarity with brokered loan lifecycle: submission, conditions, approval, and funding Our compensation structure is designed to reflect the cost of labor across various U.S. geographic markets. The base salary for this role ranges from $60,000 per year to $70,000 per year. Compensation will be determined by several factors, including relevant knowledge, skills, and experience.
