Portfolio Product Manager, NG911 Compliance Solutions

Role Description

The Portfolio Product Manager (PPM) for NG911 as a Solution owns the end-to-end strategy, execution, and lifecycle governance for Intrado’s NG911 solution portfolio—ensuring that the full set of Intrado products, capabilities, and integrations deliver a cohesive, standards-aligned outcome for customers. This role drives cross-product alignment, roadmap orchestration, and interoperability across Intrado’s NG911 ecosystem.

• Maintain a current view of the NG911 market, regulatory, and standards landscape.
• Partner with customers, 911 Authorities, PSAPs, ESInet providers, OSPs, and integrators to understand end-to-end solution needs.
• Synthesize cross-portfolio signals to define portfolio gaps and maintain a prioritized portfolio backlog.
• Define the NG911-as-a-Solution portfolio strategy and scope across relevant NG911 functional elements.
• Own and publish an integrated, multi-release portfolio roadmap.
• Establish portfolio scorecards and release gates that determine when the portfolio is ready to ship.
• Align stakeholders on portfolio commitments and ensure a consistent narrative.
• Own and maintain Intrado’s Forest Guide as the authoritative reference for i3 interpretation.
• Own coordinated delivery of NG911 portfolio capabilities.
• Define and govern standards-aligned behaviors that span product boundaries.
• Partner with Engineering, Architecture, and QA across product lines.
• Lead portfolio-level issue triage and prioritization.
• Maintain portfolio documentation and release artifacts.
• Plan and execute portfolio releases with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Coordinate interoperability testing across the NG911 ecosystem.
• Partner with Customer Success and Support to operationalize portfolio changes.
• Own launch readiness gates for portfolio features.
• Partner with Security/Architecture to ensure NG911 portfolio implementations meet required security posture.
• Establish governance for standards interpretation and variance management.
• Maintain audit-ready evidence of compliance activities.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of product management experience owning complex, customer-facing SaaS and/or communications products in public safety environments.
• Demonstrated success leading multi-product or portfolio initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of SIP and real-time communications fundamentals.
• Experience translating technical standards into requirements and validation plans.
• Strong analytical skills with a track record of using operational data to drive prioritization.
• Experience partnering with security, privacy, legal, and compliance stakeholders.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of FCC NG911 transition requirements.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional, multiproduct initiatives in compliance-driven environments.
• Direct experience with carrier SIP/i3 ingress, location validation, or PSAP call handling systems.
• Participation in NENA, APCO, or industry standards bodies.
• Experience supporting large-scale public sector or carrier RFPs.
