Pay Rate: $22.00 - $24.00/hour

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join their team in Tampa, FL. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for an organized professional who enjoys working with numbers, maintaining accurate records, and supporting day-to-day accounting operations.
Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Review and enter invoices, expense reports, and financial data
• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
• Assist with month-end closing activities and reporting
• Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding payment and billing inquiries
• Support the accounting team with administrative and clerical tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or related experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
