We are seeking a Dedicated Aide / Behavior Technician to support an elementary self-contained classroom in Washington, DC. This is a hands-on, high-impact role working with students who require consistent behavioral support and structure.

Schedule & Timeline:

30 hours/week
Now through June 17
ESY: July 6 - July 24

Position Details:

Supporting students ages 8-11 (small caseload of 3-5 students)
Working within a self-contained classroom environment
Assisting with students who have autism and ADHD
Supporting behaviors including physical aggression and elopement
Implementing behavior plans, tracking data, and de-escalation strategies
Collaborating with school staff and ABA providers

What We're Looking For:

Experience working with students with moderate to severe behavioral needs
Strong understanding of behavior modification techniques and data tracking
CPI training and de-escalation experience strongly preferred
Background in ABA is helpful, but not required
RBTs will be considered , though certification support is not provided

This role requires someone who is consistent, patient, and confident in high-behavior environments , with a focus on long-term student growth and stability.
