Requirements Shure’s Summer Internship Program (Summer 2026) offers a challenging, fun, and rewarding 12-week experience for undergraduate and graduate students. Interns work across various teams — from software engineering to product development — in a supportive environment designed to foster innovation and growth. The internship offers competitive pay , and interns relocating to Illinois for onsite work will receive a housing stipend to assist with living expenses. As a Cloud DevOps Engineer Intern , you’ll work closely with Shure’s DevOps and Cloud Development teams to design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines. You’ll help automate cloud deployments, enhance software delivery workflows, and contribute to monitoring and observability improvements across Shure’s cloud-based systems. Work Mode: Hybrid (based in Niles, IL) Key Responsibilities Design and implement improvements to CI/CD scripts and tools . Ensure pipelines operate efficiently and reliably under various conditions. Develop and enhance deployment automation processes across multiple product teams. Collaborate with developers to collect feedback and refine deployment workflows. Assist in building observability dashboards for code pipeline and application monitoring. Qualifications Minimum two years of coursework in Computer Science or a related field. Programming experience in one or more languages: Python, Perl, C/C++, Java, C#, .NET, Shell scripting , etc. Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., AWS CloudFormation , Ansible ) is a plus. Familiarity with cloud services , APIs , and automation concepts is preferred. Understanding of computer networking and OS administration is a plus. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Shure does not sponsor work visas for this internship position. Hourly Pay Range: $21 – $40 per hour (based on discipline and education level).
