The Role We’re looking for a Senior Recruiter – High-Volume Engineering & Field Recruitment who enjoys learning and values teamwork. The Senior Recruiter will support client hiring managers with filling their vacancies to target start dates, ensuring all quality thresholds and SLA/KPIs are met. They will deliver excellent recruitment services to the client in line with agreed service levels, acting as the custodian of candidate quality and the hiring manager experience, working in conjunction with colleagues in teams such as Sourcing and Administration. Senior Recruiters will be aligned to high-touch client business units or stakeholder groups that require additional attention. This may involve more rounds of interviews, more data/insight-led consultation, more complex offer negotiation, intricate reward structures, or interfacing with more senior hiring managers. They will follow a high-touch workflow, investing more time at each stage of the recruitment process than a Recruiter. Candidates will need to reside in Pennsylvania, Ohio, New York, Georgia, Florida, Texas or New York. Contract Length: 3 months initially, with potential for extension Salary range: $78,000 - 103,000 USD Key Accountabilities Key Responsibilities and Activities Act as a Trusted Adviser Build strong partnerships with Recruiters and Hiring Managers to deliver an excellent candidate and hiring manager experience. Lead recruiting discussions and be recognised as a thought leader in sourcing strategy. Partner with sourcing and talent intelligence experts to develop effective strategies, using market insights to influence hiring outcomes from the start of the process. Deliver high-quality candidate shortlists with accurate, complete information and clear recommendations to support informed hiring decisions. Share candidate feedback, challenges, and successes with Recruiters and Hiring Managers, recommending adjustments to recruitment strategies (e.g., alternative locations, talent pools, job description updates). Attract, Source & Engage High-Calibre Talent Demonstrate innovative thinking and ongoing professional development to help clients hire top talent, including passive candidates. Create and post compelling, accurate job adverts that strengthen the client brand and attract strong applicants. Develop sourcing strategies using appropriate channels (e.g., LinkedIn, social media), adopting a proactive search approach for niche and specialist roles. Use data to measure sourcing effectiveness, continuously refine strategies, and share successes and insights. Engage candidates professionally across multiple channels (email, LinkedIn, phone), regularly headhunting specialist talent. Gain insight into candidate skills, motivations, and career aspirations to inform selection decisions. Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process and build long-term talent pools. Present candidates accurately and compellingly to clients, advocating for diverse and bias-free selection processes. Track progress, performance, and data in relevant systems. Value Candidate Experience Champion candidates through honest, meaningful career discussions that bring the client brand to life. Ensure candidates feel supported and informed throughout the recruitment journey. Build lasting relationships so candidates become long-term advocates, regardless of hiring outcomes. Skills & Requirements The successful candidate will demonstrate the following competencies Proven experience recruiting and sourcing across the energy sector , including field technicians, electricians, engineering professionals, and operations roles . Experience supporting recruitment for field-based environments, data centers, electrical energy, and power-related operations , with an understanding of the technical requirements associated with these positions. Proven expertise in candidate pipeline development, market research, proactive sourcing, and delivering exceptional hiring outcomes. Strong understanding of specialized talent markets, including professionals responsible for equipment inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and field service, as well as various engineering disciplines. Experience recruiting for high-volume and specialized technical roles, with the ability to identify and engage talent in competitive engineering and skilled-trades markets. Proven expertise of end-to-end recruitment experience, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer management, and stakeholder consultation. Strong ability to assess and evaluate recruitment expertise , demonstrating deep knowledge of sourcing strategies, talent mapping, competency-based interviewing, and selection methodologies. Highly developed relationship management skills , building trusted partnerships with hiring managers, candidates, and senior stakeholders. Ability to work autonomously , managing priorities independently while delivering against agreed timelines and objectives. Strong stakeholder engagement capability , confidently advising, influencing, and managing expectations at multiple levels within the organisation. Resilience and adaptability in fast-paced, high-demand recruitment environments. Strong organisational and prioritisation skills to balance competing demands in high-volume settings. High attention to quality, ensuring accuracy and compliance across all recruitment processes. Accountability and ownership, taking full responsibility for delivery outcomes and service excellence. For this role, the initial expected remuneration for US is $78,000 - $103,000 USD plus applicable benefits.
