Sonographer

Ultrasound Technologist

Performs diagnostic procedures on patients using ultrasound waves to examine tissue and body structures. Performs variety of ultrasound procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative.

Required:

• Two years of formal education/training beyond high school at an approved school of Medical Sonography
• Registration as Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)
• Registration in Breast (BR), Abdomen (AB), Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN), Vascular (VT) completed within 18 months of accepting the position
• CPR certification

Preferred:

• 6 months to 1 year of job-related experience.
