We strive to delight guests at every turn: candy walls, in-house bakeshops, and a warm welcome at every turn.**THE ROLE**The position reports to the Human Resources Manager with a dotted line to the General Manager. The HR Generalist role will be responsible for overall management of HR Compliance, HR Audits, HR Files, Employee Celebrations, Job Fairs, Hourly Recruiting and Training and Development of hourly staff. This role is also responsible for assisting the HR Manager in a support role.**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS*** Ensure hourly staff are engaged and functioning in their roles.* HR Compliance – ensure all postings are up to date for Federal and State Laws (Both English and Spanish versions)* Training and Development of hourly staff (Customer Service, building relations, etc.)* Job Fairs – to recruit hourly staff.* Sphere heads all Employee Celebrations (Employee of the Month, Quarter and Year)* Track hourly attrition (turnover) watch for trends in each area.* HR Audits – ensure that employee files are up to date and accurate. (Active and Terminations)* Offer letters for hourly employees and onboarding.* Liaison between employees and managers* Provide overall direction, coordination, and ongoing support to Managerial staff for their hourly staff needs.* Ability to work with all staff to ensure a harmonious work environment.* Maintains office supplies and office equipment.* Maintains snacks and refreshments for office staff.**QUALIFICATIONS**To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.* Experience in working with employees and managers.* Knowledge of Safety requirements in the workplace* Experience in recruiting and recognizing talent in the workplace.* Great organizational skills* Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, team orientated setting.* Ability to read, speak and write in English.* Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned tasks.* Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time.* Must be available to hourly staff to address concerns.* Practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies and procedures and regulations, complete company-wide safety training and additional job specific safety training.**COMPENSATION**Competitive salary commensurate with experience, and a generous benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and 401k plan.**WORKING CONDITIONS****Location: On Site The Star - Frisco, TX****PHYSICAL DEMANDS**The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
