The Department of Radiology & Radiological Science at The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is seeking a Breast Imaging Radiologist to work full-time at their hospitals in the Pee Dee region. The Pee Dee region consists of three hospitals: Florence SC, Marion SC, and Black River SC. All located within a short drive from one another. This community-based practice uses a streamlined, multidisciplinary approach to provide high quality, compassionate care to patients in the Pee Dee region. About the opportunity: Full-time onsite position Monday – Friday (8AM-5PM) No Weekends No Call Candidate should have a strong foundation in all aspects of breast imaging including screening and diagnostic mammography, MRI, biopsies and localizations Candidate must be BC or BE and be MQSA certified and have completed a one-year fellowship in Breast Imaging Great mix of screening and diagnostic mammography. All units are tomosynthesis. Perform image guided biopsies including ultrasound, MRI, stereotactic, and localization procedures. Single VPN with Sectra PACs; PowerScribe dictation system Work with state-of-the-art equipment Staff are well-established, collaborative and dedicated to the hospital and communities Supported by a premier cancer institute, the radiologists enjoy excellent professional relationships with dedicated breast sub-specialists in Breast Medical Oncology, Breast Genetics, Breast Surgical Oncology, Breast Radiation, Breast Pathology, Breast Surgery, and Plastic/Reconstructive Surgery. Weekly dedicated Breast Tumor Boards serve as working conferences to deliver the highest quality medicine to each patient in a considerate, caring, and timely manner.
