Maintenance AssistantThe Maintenance Assistant supports a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents by performing routine maintenance and repairs. This role plays an important part in resident care by ensuring the facility is well-maintained and treating residents with dignity and respect.Key Responsibilities:Perform basic repairs (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.)Complete regular maintenance and safety checksRespond quickly to maintenance requestsMaintain clean, safe work areas and equipmentAssist with room setups and facility changesInteract respectfully with residents and support their well-being through quality workFollow all safety and emergency proceduresQualifications:High school diploma or GEDMaintenance or handyman experience preferredAbility to safely use hand and power toolsRespectful, courteous attitude toward residents and staffMust pass background and health screeningsPhysically able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform hands-on work
