Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) Easton, Maryland. This position involves providing direct patient care on a general medical-surgical floor, with a focus on adult and geriatric patient populations. The role requires flexibility in floating within the unit and supporting various operational needs of the healthcare facility.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 3x12 hours (1900-0730), with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license for Maryland or an active compact license, BLS certification required; ACLS, CPI, and NIHSS certifications preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience with patient management in a medical-surgical setting, experience with charting systems such as Epic, and familiarity with adult and geriatric patient care.
• Float: Float rotation may be required within the specialty, to other units, and sister facilities within scope.
• Additional Information: The role involves caring for adult and geriatric patients, with responsibilities including medication administration, wound care, managing surgical drains, and providing post-operative care for orthopedic patients. The candidate must be comfortable with a variety of clinical procedures and working within interdisciplinary teams.
