We' re looking for a dependable School Custodian to help create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, teachers, staff, and visitors.

This isn' t just a cleaning job - YOU help keep the school running!

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY

You' ll keep the school looking its best while helping make sure everything is safe, clean, and ready for the next day.

Clean & Sanitize

• Classrooms, hallways, offices, restrooms, and common areas
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and remove trash
• Sanitize high-touch areas, drinking fountains, and glass surfaces
• Restock soap, paper products, and cleaning supplies

Keep Things Running

• Replace light bulbs and filters
• Assist with basic maintenance and repairs
• Help with painting and basic plumbing tasks
• Perform floor care, carpet cleaning, and seasonal maintenance
• Monitor building equipment and systems

Support School Events

• Set up and break down for meetings and special events
• Move furniture and equipment
• Receive and organize deliveries
• Help open and secure the building when needed

Take It Outside

• Maintain walkways and building grounds
• Mow grass and assist with landscaping
• Shovel snow and handle seasonal outdoor tasks
• Inspect and help maintain playgrounds and outdoor equipment

Be a Safety Champion

• Respond quickly to spills, accidents, and hazards
• Follow proper safety procedures and PPE requirements
• Report safety concerns promptly

You are:

Dependable and responsible
Hardworking and self-motivated
Comfortable working independently
A team player with a positive attitude
Able to follow written and verbal instructions
Organized and able to prioritize tasks
Professional and respectful around students and staff
Willing to learn new equipment, tools, and procedures

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Previous custodial or maintenance experience is a PLUS - NOT REQUIRED!
