What we’re looking for:

Valid Special Education Teacher certification
Proven experience working with students in special education settings
Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with staff and families
Adaptability and creativity in instructional planning
Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive classroom atmosphere

Key responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to assess, monitor, and support student progress
Foster a positive, structured learning environment that accommodates varied learning styles and abilities
Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers to share student successes and address concerns
Integrate assistive technologies and differentiated instruction methods
Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school activities
